Amir is a partner of Bridgehouse Law's Vancouver office and is a member of the Business Transaction, Corporate and Employment Practice Groups. He completed his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation prior to attending Dalhousie University to complete his law degree. After working for several years at a large Western Canadian law firm and being exposed to a wide range of corporate, securities and commercial matters, Amir joined a predecessor to Bridgehouse Law and has remained with the firm since that time.
In this role, Amir acts for individuals and organizations in a broad range of business matters including pre-incorporation and structuring considerations, shareholder agreements, purchase and sale of businesses, corporate reorganizations, employment law, contract drafting, contract review and other commercial matters which businesses often face.
Amir is conversant in Farsi and has a functional command of French. Outside of work, Amir enjoys jazz, fitness, skiing and providing volunteer coaching assistance to local high school wrestling clubs, including but not limited to his former team.
